However, if you want to be taken seriously from a business perspective it’s not advisable to use a picture of you wearing sunglasses (viewers subconsciously think you are hiding something – and, you are), posing with your child or spouse (interestingly, a dog is evidently acceptable), alcoholic beverage, or a weapon.
For example, this picture is a particularly bad idea.
